IBAC Saddened by the Loss of Athar Husain Khan, Secretary-General, European Business Aviation Association

Montreal - The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) shares sincere condolences with the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) community for the sudden loss of secretary-general, Athar Husain Khan.

AtharhusainkhanKurt Edwards, Director General, IBAC, said, ‟Athar was a respected leader and advocate for the European business aviation industry with a passion to share its economic and societal contributions and promote its innovation and constant commitment to reduce its environmental footprint. His work and contributions to IBAC’s Governing Board as the EBAA leader were always insightful and supportive. All of us at IBAC send heartfelt sympathies to Athar’s family, friends, and colleagues. He will be deeply missed by many.”

Husain Khan became secretary-general of EBAA in July 2018 after spending 25 years in various leadership roles with aviation organizations and companies including CEO of the Association for European Airlines.
